  • Through Adventure – outdoor activities developing leadership & teamwork
  • Preparing for College – with post-secondary training and admissions preparation

About Elevate Orlando

Elevate Orlando is a non-profit organization founded in 2008, modeled after a well-established program in Colorado.  Although our first classes were launched in January 2009 at Evans High School and Robinswood Middle School, we are confident that in time we will achieve results similar to those of the Colorado organization, including:
  • 90% high school graduation rate for participating students
  • 95% of these graduates continue on to college, careers or the military
  • Significant increase in attendance & test scores
  • Thousands of students participating in the Colorado program have graduated from college, and continue to graduate at a rate of almost 100 per year

What Makes the Elevate Model Unique & Successful?

  • Mentoring by Dedicated Staff: creates long-term, stable relationships with multi-year impact
  • Inside Public Schools:  curriculum taught inside the schools provides the foundation
  • Comprehensive: relationships and lessons are strengthened outside the classroom
  • Pipeline of Influence: we start early - 4th through 12th grade and beyond
  • Students Leading Students: High school students teach elementary students, and lead by example
  • Diverse Staff: who relate to and connect with urban youth
  • Exceptional Curriculum:  character, life skills and leadership development
  • Dynamic Partnership: business and urban schools through education
