Currently Elevate Orlando uses the model of Colorado Uplift, a program that has been in existence for more than 27 years with proven success.

Currently, Elevate Orlando is involved in 5 Orange County Public Schools, touching the lives of numbers of students between the 4th-12th grades.

“Elevate has provided me with a support system – I mean it has helped me to be more positive and it helped me block out negativity. It changed my life by allowing me to experience many adventures and helped me stay out of trouble. If it wasn’t for the great teachers who showed us they really cared I probably would have been in many fights and drama… Elevate gave me a chance to bond with people I would have never imagined being friends with. It’s a program that shows kids that there is more to life than we realize.” 10th grade student at Evans High School

Elevate Orlando’s first graduating class (2010) supported the expected outcomes which include:

Measurable increase in the attendance and academic performance of the involved students
90 percent of involved urban youth graduating from high school
90 percent of graduates continuing on to college, trade school or the military
